MESSAGES This is where I will put either certain messages that I think we can all benefit from, or some course of action we should think about taking. Anyone can place information here, just e-mail me and you will be sent a reply about the posting. Once these messages have been on here for a while, I will be placing them on the forum server so you can check them out there if you missed any. Here's a link- Archived Messages AM I ALONE? I was in church the other day and the Pastor was giving a sermon on building a community in Christ. It was an interesting message about becoming more involved, becoming "one flock". After hearing him talk about this, I began to wonder how many other people were as moved as I. Then I thought about all of the people in the neighborhood where I live. They hadn't received this message at all. You see I believe that I am the only one in the neighborhood that goes to church. Of course there is a chance that I am wrong. Sure, they could go at different times, to another church, etc. I understand that. It's just that I don't see anyone going. You can always tell if someone is going to church. They have that look. The one where they are either dressed to the 9's, or have a bible in hand, or they just look generally happy. What I am saying is that I do not see any of this. Am I alone? Are there other people experiencing the same things as I? Check your neighborhood see if you are one of few. Let me know. This truly makes me sad. |
